Q: If my child attends more than one session of the same camp, will he get different materials each session? We have many different levels in all of our specialty programs which enable our campers to continue to learn and do exciting new activities and receive new supplies each time they attend a session.
Q: What is a typical day like? In all of our programs the campers have a balanced day between their specialty and other camp activities, usually it is between two to three hours of their specialty and then balanced out with the other camp activities i.e. swimming, field activities, special shows. Q: Is my child too young to attend camp? All of our programs have been designed to be age appropriate for 5-12 year olds. The Game Tech Institute & Game Tech Jr. is for ages 8-14 year olds. With over 25 years of experience all of our campers are assured to have a fun and exciting summer.
Q: What is the staff to camper ratio? Because we realize the importance of quality staff and ratios, ours is 1 adult counselor/staff for every 9 children.
Q: Who is the Staff? Our Staff is comprised of all adult counselors and directors. Each one has been carefully selected for their enthusiasm, education and professionalism. They are made up of certified educators and teachers with the balance of our staff selected for their special skills and areas of knowledge.
Q: Are the counselors screened ? All of our counselors are adults and go through a comprehensive background screening and training course to ensure you child's safety and well being.
Q: Is Your Camp Accredited ? We are proud to say that we are the only ACA accredited camp in Miami. We passed over 250 standards and inspections to receive this accreditation..
Q: How long are the campers outside each day in Miami and South Florida? Each program has been designed to have a balanced day. In conjunction with our specialties, the campers do participate in field activities each day and swimming if the location has a pool.
